Totally get it. But working on global teams, it is too easy for those on audio only to hide and check out during calls when others are on video. We are all trying to keep video on, default to “gallery view" for the Brady bunch effect to allow for good non-verbal communication, and encouraging the use of “virtual backgrounds” on zoom for when you don’t want to showcase your unfolded laundry pile in the background (addresses those privacy concerns). Inclusive conference calls are hard enough if people start to resort to audio only. Hope you can hang in there, show up, and encourage others to do the same.
