I don't have a point of view on California sober as a concept overall - but in the end, whatever works and helps people keep themselves balanced is what matters.

For live music, I usually prefer cannabis over ethanol anyway. Eliminates the standing in line, holding a cup/drink (can't clap), missing songs during piss breaks - let alone annoying drink prices. For me, a pre-show edible is far superior option to drinking whether one is wanting to control alcholol intake or not.
